They say you haven’t been to Vietnam if you haven’t seen Halong Bay. I couldn’t agree more!
Some of you may notice I skipped one day but that is only temporary, we had one night in Hanoi before Halong Bay then another two days, I’m going to have a separate post about The capital (P.S. It’s amazing!). But now, back to Halong…
This was a two-day cruise with one night on the boat, the bus to Halong took 4 hours. We actually had quite and international group on board (most of them from Europe) and the night ended in some massive drinking on the top deck. Super cool!
The next morning we went kayaking and visited some nearby floating markets (I’m gonna have videos from those). All the food we had in these two days were from the floating market too :) Imagine people actually live here. It is said they learn how to swim before they learn how to walk. :)
We simply loved this place, definitely one of the highlights of our trip, the eerie mood this massive body of water displays, the caves around the area, the anchoring boats at night in complete darkness, definitely a must try! :)
